Before you can upload your content to our marketplace, you will need to contact a member of our Customer Success team so that you can sign the enabling agreement. You can contact them at [email protected].

After completing this step, you will be able to upload your content.

In this article we will look at two options.

Upload new content to the marketplace

  1. You will first need to upload your content to an FTP folder provided by us.

If you do not have your credentials you can request them to [email protected]. You can follow the INSTRUCTIONS below to see the proper format that the files should have (file names).

  2. Log in to your shop with your administrator email.

  3. You will need to create a bulk publications import. It's very simple, you just need to fill in a spreadsheet according to these instructions and they will be uploaded to both your shop and the marketplace at the same time. The most important thing to remember is to fill in the Retail enabled column with the value:

    • 1 for sharing and

    • 0 for not sharing to the marketplace.

  4. Once you have the uploaded files to the FTP and completed the spreadsheet, you will then need to upload it in the Control Panel > Settings > Imports > New import > Import publications.

Upload already existing content to the marketplace

  1. Log in to your shop with your administrator email address.

  2. You will need to perform a bulk publications update. Since your content is already uploaded to your shop, you don't need to upload the files again. In this case you will only need to fill in a spreadsheet (different from the one used for imports).

You can save time by downloading a publication report from the Control Panel > Content > My inventory > Export. There you can get the metadata information to complete the spreadsheet much more easily.

  3. Once you have completed the spreadsheet, you should upload it to the Control Panel > Settings > Imports > New import > Update publications.

NOTE: In this case you can exclude the columns that are not mandatory in order to simplify the process and reduce the possibility of errors. You could then only include in the spreadsheet the columns: ISBN, Name and Retail Enabled.

We hope these instructions have been helpful. However, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions at [email protected].
