Get an individual URL for your publications

In this article we will show you how to get individual links for your posts.

Last updated 4 months ago

Sharing an individual URL will help you improve the experience for your users before they purchase the publication or subscribe to your store. It also helps to position each publication in search engines.

1. Go to Control Panel > Publications or Control Panel > Content > My inventory

2. Choose the post you want to share and click the dropdown menu

3. Choose the "Copy post link" option

The link will be saved to your clipboard and you can paste it wherever you want by right-clicking > paste, or using CTRL+V

If you want the link to be direct to the reader, instead of choosing the "Copy link from post" option, you should choose "Copy link from reader" . Your users will directly access this view:

If you need to configure the individual links using the ISBN or External Id of the publications, you can configure them as follows:

  • Link to the publication: It must follow the following structure:

url-de-la-tienda/library/publication/external-id/12345678

For example:

<https://www.alphaeditorialcloud.com/library/publication/external-id/9788418532573>

  • Link to the reader: You must follow the following structure:

url-de-la-tienda/reader/external-id/12345678

For example:

<https://www.alphaeditorialcloud.com/reader/external-id/9788418532573>

  • You can share the link in your Newsletters, social networks and other digital channels.
  • Your readers can also share it on their social networks or on the channels they want. They just have to copy the link of the publication from the browser bar and paste it where they want to share it.
  • Remember that you can generate a QR code with access to the publication. **Here** we show you how.
  • The Preview/Read button changes depending on whether the user is: logged in, subscribed to, or purchased that individual publication.

In order to improve your positioning in search engines, it is necessary that, when loading the content metadata , you include all the data such as: author, publication date and description. It is also important that you include in the description keywords with which your users may be searching for the publication in Google or other search engines.
