1. Go to your Shopify store > Products and export the list of your products:
2. Open the file you exported in a Google Sheet or Excel spreadsheet:
From this form we will obtain information that will allow us to massively import the links to the purchase buttons. In the next steps we will create the form required by Outlink.
3. Open a new Excel spreadsheet or Google Sheet. You should take into account the following Outlink specifications:
- Maximum file size: 10 MB.
- A maximum of 2000 products must be included in the CSV. If this limit is exceeded, only the top 2,000 products will be edited.
- The first row of the CSV must have the following headers:
handle : The handle of the product in Shopify (available in the spreadsheet you exported in step 2).
externallink : This is the Outlink you want the products to link to. (Here you must add the link to your Publica store).
buttontext : The text to display on the external link button.
isactive : 1 (one) - indicates that the Outlink should be activated in the store. 0 (zero) - indicates that the external link should be down. Default value: 1
4. Complete the information of your products below each header, for example:
Download the file in CSV format.
5. Go to Outlink > Bulk Editor
Find the file on your computer by clicking Browse and upload it by clicking Upload File.
6. Click Start Edit . The app will edit the products based on the CSV file. Once the editing is complete, you will receive an email with the updated results.
Ready! Your products will look like this:
