Minimum Requirements
This article covers the minimum requirements to use the Publica.la apps and the web reader.

1. App requirements
The Publica.la apps are available on the following operating systems:
- iOS: version 15.5 or later
- Android: version 8.0 or later
- Windows: version 10 or later
2. Devices with web reader limitations
The following devices and versions may experience errors when downloading publications or reading content online.
Outdated Apple devices
iPhone:
- iPhone 4, 5, 5C, 5S
- iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus
- iPhone SE (1st generation)
iPod:
- 1st through 6th generation
iPad:
- iPad 1st through 4th generation
- iPad Air 1st generation
- iPad mini 1st through 4th generation
Outdated Android versions
Android 4.4 (Kit Kat) and earlier:
- Apple Pie, Banana Bread, Cupcake, Donut
- Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb
- Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, Kit Kat
3. Offline download
Offline reading is not available in the following cases:
- iPhone: no browser supported
- iPad: no browser supported
- Mac: does not work on Safari or Firefox
- Android: does not work on Firefox or the operating systems listed above
